VIGNOBLES ET DÉCOUVERTES - 2015
In September 2015, Champagne Météyer Père et Fils was awarded the "Vignobles et Découvertes" label and joined the "Qualité Œnotourisme" network in the Vallée de la Marne.
This label recognizes wine tourism destinations that offer a diverse and complementary range of tourist experiences, such as cellar tours, tastings, museums, events, and more. It simplifies the organization of visitors' stays by guiding them toward high-quality services.
LA CHAMPAGNE : REFINED ART DE VIVRE - 2017
Created in October 2016 as part of the "La Champagne" destination contract, this brand aims to expand internationally to support the initiatives of wine tourism stakeholders committed to offering a cohesive and unifying experience synonymous with refinement.
Since 2017, Champagne Météyer Père et Fils has been proud to represent this brand.
This initiative highlights winemakers and Champagne Houses that provide a high-quality welcome. The inclusion of the Hillsides, Houses, and Cellars of Champagne as a UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a valuable opportunity to showcase an exceptional living cultural landscape and enhance the wine tourism offering in Champagne.
MISSION UNESCO : PRIX PIERRE CHEVAL* DE L'EMBELLISSEMENT - 2017
Since July 4, 2015, the Hillsides, Houses, and Cellars of Champagne have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, a prestigious recognition that celebrates humanity and brings people together through culture.
This is an exceptional global distinction!
June 23, 2017, marks a historic date with the launch of the "Pierre Cheval de l'Embellissement" Award.
This award is given in four categories: Municipality, Cooperative, House, and Winemaker. The selection criteria include the winemaker's work, efforts to enhance the estate, hospitality at the property, and the interpretation of Champagne viticulture.
In its first year, the Mission Hillsides, Houses, and Cellars of Champagne awarded the prize in the "WINEMAKER" category to FRANCK MÉTÉYER, making him the first Independent Winemaker to receive this prestigious award.
